Professional Organizer Denver

According to the National Association of Professional Organizers, a professional organizer enhances the lives of clients by designing systems and processes using organizing principles and through transferring organizing skills. A professional organizer also educates the public on organizing solutions and the resulting benefits. Professional organizers help individuals and businesses take control of their surroundings, their time, their paper, and their systems for life.

I use my professional organizer experience and industry training to help individuals and businesses design systems and processes using organizing principles and through the transferring skills I’ve learned throughout my many years of experience.

Types of Organizing

Professional organizing
often involves the development or introduction of customized organizing systems so you can find needed items in a minimal amount of time. As a Professional Organizer in Denver, my primary skill is in helping you decide what should be done with your items, educating you on organizational techniques, developing strategies and installing systems so you can maintain the organized space for the long-term.  Spaces I can help you organize include, but are not limited to:

  • Office

  • Home

  • Kitchen

  • Closet

  • Garage

  • Packing / Unpacking

Professional Organizing Process

The first step, requires sorting through items to determine which are most needed, which can be thrown away, or recycled, and which can be given away.

The second step is deciding how to best use the space that was decluttered, what storage items to use and what sizes will be needed.  We will figure out how to label those containers based on your personal priorities.

The third step involves installing any additional storage systems we are going to need, such as storage racks, shelves, bookcases, etc.

The fourth step involves placing items in their place, making the most used items more accessible.  Items that are used most often should be on easy to reach shelves and items used seasonally are stored on the higher shelves.

The fifth step involves disposing of items that you no longer need.  Junk should be disposed of appropriately and recycled when possible.  Items donated should be taken to the appropriate donation center, such as Goodwill, Salvation Army etc. You may also have a container that you will want to donate to your church or a container for a future garage sale or to sell on Craigslist, etc.

The Next Step In Your Process
